Author Jennifer Winters is a former reading and elementary educator who loved helping her students discover their family backgrounds while enhancing their reading skills. She is also a perpetual student as she continues to learn and develop her own family tree. Living near New York City gives her the benefit of retracing the cultural footsteps of her immigrant grandparents, great grandparents, and extended family.
