Black Lives Matter

The murders of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and countless others are horrific examples of the greatest issue facing this country: systemic injustice. 

Stirred Stories was founded with a simple yet necessary mission: to create a society in which we want to live by uplifting underrepresented narratives. As our country grapples with its morally-flawed foundation, we are committed now more than ever to upholding this mission. 

Black experiences cannot continue to be marginalized—we have repeatedly learned the tragedy that ensues when Black stories are told in the margins, not the mainstream.  

Stirred Stories wholeheartedly condemns discrimination of any kind and we are dedicated to being active participants in the fight for a more just world. For us, that means elevating diverse narratives because we are confident that society will prosper when people of various backgrounds have their stories told purposefully and authentically. 

We must do better. We can do better. We will do better
